The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro in El Paso: Ready to Face the Competition

The sixth generation 2016 Chevrolet Camaro is on its way, and the competition is bound to tremble in its wake. If you’ve been looking forward to a sleeker, bolder, stronger design, then you’re not going to be disappointed in this awesome package.

Playing the Numbers Game

It was the manufacturer itself that declared the 2016 Camaro to be as much as 28% more structurally rigid than its predecessors. While there is that increase, the rest of its body dimensions decreased, coming up shorter by 2.3 inches than the previous version.

To be more specific, 0.8 inches has been shaved from its width, while the height is now missing some 1.1 inches to it.  The wheelbase is also down by some 1.6 inches. These reductions in size are subject to change depending on what trim level you get. Slightly shrinking down the vehicle makes it more lightweight and more aerodynamic; thus, allowing it to drive more efficiently.

For its engine, the ever-reliable turbocharged 4-cylinder V-6/V-8 tandem is here. The LT and 2LT guise will be getting the smaller engines, which will again contribute to added speed and improved performance.

Reliably Stylish

It’s impossible to speak of the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro without talking about its aesthetics. As mentioned, and as evidenced by the overall weight reduction, the 2016 Camaro seeks to deliver a literally lean and mean machine.  The tri-bar Camaro badge has been reinstated, too, and is now applied to its front fenders.

And because many folks with different preferences are sure to want to have one for themselves, Chevy went all out and made it available in 10 different exterior paint colors. That’s ultimate customer consideration anyway you look at it.

Don’t let that be the end of your Camaro experience, though. Head over to an El Paso Chevrolet dealership to see for yourself what the 2016 Camaro truly is all about.
